Sustainable Business Network of Detroit is new coalition formed in 2021, focused on creating a sustainable business ecosystem through a network serving as a hub for idea-sharing, programming, content, mentoring and more.
Our challenge was to align many stakeholders to a vision for the coalition kickoff, position the coalition members as experts in sustainability, and attract NGOs, companies, and higher ed to join the cause through a multi-disciplinary communication approach.
Siren served as the strategic communication lead for the launch of SBN Detroit. Our understanding of sustainability narratives allowed us to effectively communicate the newly formed coalition’s mission and ultimately promote their kickoff event to through media and social media. Our multi-level stakeholder engagement allowed us to create an integrated marketing plan that supported the launch with five participating organizations and several supporting vendors all working toward a common goal.
